Tess A. Davis is an experienced attorney, practicing marital law since 2009. Tess specializes in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, adoption, divorce modifications, and pre and post nuptial agreements. She understands the complexities of divorce and strives to help each client through the processes.
Tess is dedicated to providing quality legal services and effective solutions founded on experience, advocacy and integrity, and customized for each client's unique circumstances.

Tess has practiced law since 2009, focusing primarily in family law, including divorce, custody, adoption, premarital agreements, post nuptial agreements, and general litigation. She is a strong advocate who understands the sensitive and difficult nature of divorce, and how it impacts families in transition. Tess values and empathizes with each client’s unique set of circumstances and takes great care in helping them navigate the litigation process, which is often turbulent. She has extensive experience with complex custody issues, large marital estates, and high conflict divorce matters.
While in law school, Ms. Davis was a senior editor of the Law Review, and was a Dean’s Fellow academic scholarship recipient. She provided more than 700 hours of public service in two different legal clinics in addition to working as an advisor with the Youth Court of the District of Columbia.
Ms. Davis was an intern with the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development Assistance and Training (OPDAT).
After graduating from law school in 2009, Ms. Davis joined the firm of Olson & Hoggan, P.C., where she practiced law until 2014, when she left to establish Tess A. Davis, P.C.
Ms. Davis received her Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, magna cum laude.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Utah State University, cum laude. Ms. Davis also earned a Master of Criminal Justice degree from Weber State University.
Ms. Davis is licensed to practice law in the state of Utah and in all Federal courts.
